Western Alliance recognised as an Emerging Research Translation Centre

We are delighted to share the exciting news that Western Alliance has been recognised by the NHMRC (National Health and Medical Research Council) as an Emerging Research Translation Centre.

This recognition has occurred as part of a rigorous accreditation process, and enables Western Alliance to become a member of AHRA (the Australian Health Research Alliance), made up of NHMRC accredited Research Translation Centres from across Australia. This has provided Western Alliance with access to a wealth of opportunities for collaboration and sharing of expertise, as well as access to further funding opportunities.

We are extremely proud to represent Western Victoria in working towards better health through research, and look forward to working with our peers across Australia as we work towards full accreditation with the NHMRC over the coming year.
