Interested in developing or getting involved in research on ageing and aged care?

Are you looking for potential collaborators, experts and/or mentors?

You’re interested in finding solutions to the problems associated with our ageing population. Maybe you’re a health professional with a great idea for a research study but you don’t have the expertise to get it up and running. Or maybe you’re an academic researcher looking for clinicians and clinician–researchers to collaborate with…

Who should attend?

* Health services professionals: clinical and non-clinical s with expertise and interests in aged care, delivering health and other services for older people, with/without research experience
* Academic researchers: gerontologists, social scientists, public health experts, technologists and others with interests in gerontology and aged care

Meet your professional match(es)

This event is designed to provide a networking opportunity for professionals who would not usually get to meet each other. We’re serious about matching potential collaborators, so come prepared to talk about yourself, your current work and the type/s of research you’d like to create or be involved in. We’ll provide lunch and introductions. There won’t be any canoodling, but we hope you’ll leave with several prospects for future research collaboration.

Health services professionals and researchers at all levels of experience are invited to register. Numbers will have to be very strictly limited, so register early. When registering, we ask that you indicate your level of clinical/professional and/or research knowledge and experience so that we can match groups and individuals for optimal engagement.
