  • Understand the six accreditation standards
  • Assess current policies, practices and governance arrangements
  • Begin building the foundations for culturally safe, community-centred research

This event is hosted by the Victorian Research Translation Centre Collaborative (VRTCC – consisting of MACH, Monash Partners Health Translation Network, Western Alliance) for their member organisations in partnership with VACCHO.

Date: Thursday 20 August 2026, 12.30-1.30pm (online)

Register: Via Zoom

Who should attend?
This session is open to everyone from VRTCC member organisations. While the Accreditation Scheme is intended for use at the organisational level, the Reflective Process can also be applied by individual units, departments and teams seeking to strengthen their research practices.

About the session
Designed for organisations committed to the aims, principles and actions of the Research Accord, this session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Reflective Process and ask questions about how it can support your organisation to ensure research delivers genuine benefit to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Join us to learn how to get started, access key resources, and take the first step towards accreditation.
