Developing a STaRR EOI
The STaRR program aims to support new and emerging researchers turn a translation-focused research idea into a protocol or proposal.
STaRR Emerging Researcher Training involves:
- Manager support and involvement
- Mentor support and guidance
- Two full day and one half-day workshops (mix of in-person and online learning)
- Work before and between workshops

Step 1: Develop your STaRR Emerging Researcher Expression of Interest
Dr Olivia King has put together a short video that discusses how to develop your Expression of Interest for the STaRR Emerging Researcher program.
Expressions of Interest for the 2026 program will open on 18 May 2026.

Step 3: Submit your STaRR Emerging Researcher Expression of Interest
Download the 2026 Expression of Interest form here. EOIs open Mon 18 May 2026 and close at 5pm on Thursday 16 July 2026.
